It's a shame I was unable to capture the sweet essence of the lemon balm, but perhaps when you hold it close, you will be reminded of it~
Handmade from pmc and respectfully harvested Melissa officinalis from the Bastyr University garden.
I have securely soldered a sterling silver ring through the leaf.
The leaf measures about 23 mm long, and 14 mm across at its widest.
Total length with the bail is about 27 mm (a little over one inch).
The bail is a 4.5 mm size and should fit most chains.
The photo example of the pendant worn for size reference is with a similar pendant, which had a wire-wrap attachment instead of my new soldered ring style, so that one hangs a little lower than the new piece will.
Fine silver jewelry is 99.9% pure silver (not 92.5% sterling silver), containing eco-friendly recycled silver, mostly from old electronics. I make my own molds or press a leaf directly into the silver clay, each one is unique. I form and cut, file, sand, and polish every piece by hand, then tumble it for strength and extra shine.
All other metal used is sterling silver, oxidized and lightly polished like an antiqued heirloom treasure if you so choose.
